BoysCarroll 60, Bishop Dwenger 57: Dillon Redding hit a three-pointer just before the buzzer to give the Chargers the win after Dwenger led for the majority of the game. Jacob Redding led Carroll with 15 points, followed by 12 from Anthony Martin and 11 from Riley Perlich. Hayden Smithey had 14 points to lead the Saints. Campbell Donovan added 13 points and Conlan Martin scored 12 and had seven rebounds.
Snider 58, Northrop 45: Malik Williams scored 26 points and 15 rebounds to propel Snider. Keondre Brown added 13 points in the win. Richard Robertson led Northrop with 19 points and Antwone Washington scored 10.
Homestead 70, South Side 57: Brandon Durnell scored a game high 34 points with nine rebounds as the Spartans bounced back from their first loss of the season during the SAC Holiday Tournament. Jack Ferguson added 16 points in the win. Trejean Didier led South Side with 16 points. The Archers also got 13 points each from Cortney Shorter and Mikale Stevenson.
North Side 81, Wayne 46: Jaylen Butz scored 27 and had 18 rebounds to lead North Side, followed by 17 points each from Keion Brooks Jr. and Devontae Kinnie.
Bishop Luers 75, Concordia 47: Anton Berry had 22 points and seven rebounds as the Knights jumped out to a 21-9 first quarter lead and held on through a couple of Cadet runs. Jason Davis added 13 points and Tre Underwood scored 11 for Luers. Ray Walker had seven assists. Nick Webb led Concordia with 10 points and Larson Ashford added nine points.
Churubusco 64, Fremont 59: Jalen Paul had 28 points and five assists to lead Busco.
Whitko 78, Rochester 55: Nate Walpole scored 25, followed by 21 from River West in the win.
GirlsNorthrop 58, Snider 57: Daleshia Davis traveled as she attempted to get off a final seconds shot for Snider, securing the upset victory for Northrop. Arielle Thatched scored 16 points and Breanna Douglas had 13 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Kyla Covington led Snider with 24 points, followed by 10 from Daysianae Hinton.
Homestead 54, South Side 36: Karissa McLaughlin scored 23 points to keep the Spartans unbeaten. She is now the 17th leading girls basketball scorer in the state's history with 2,204 points. Madisen Parker added 15 points and Jazmyne Geist scored eight. Darshana Nathan led South Side with eight points and Jaci Jones scored seven.
Concordia 74, Bishop Luers 29: The Cadets outscored Luers 22-2 in the opening quarter behind 11 points from Sylare Starks, who hit three three-pointes in the first quarter. Starks ended up with a game high 25 points while Carissa Garcia scored 19 and Hannah Nack added 13 for the Cadets. The Knights did not hit a field goal in the opening quarter and were led by Kathryn Knapke's seven points.
Carroll 62, Bishop Dwenger 52: Kelli Damman scored 25 points to lead the Chargers, followed by seven each from Julia Miller and Emma Lubbehausen. Ellen Ross scored 13 and had nine rebounds for the Saints and Jayda Smith scored nine.
Jay County 53, Bluffton 36: Jay County led by one point at the half before pulling away. Taylor Homan led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds for the Patriots. Britlyn Dues added 16 points for Jay County. Bluffton was led by Zoey Pearson's 14 points, followed by seven from Gabrielle Streveler.
Norwell 50, Leo 37: Three Knights scored n double figured led by Logan Rowles' 15 in the Northeast 8 win. Kaylee Roller added 13 points, seven assists and three steals and Courtney Beer had 12 points for Norwell. Sophia Pierce led Leo with 15 points and Abbie Heischman scored 10 and had eight rebounds.
South Adams 51, Southern Wells 34: Lexi Dellinger scored 22 points to lead the Starfires to an ACAC win. Sydney Pierce added 15 for South Adams and Madi Wurster scored 10. Jada Johnson led the Raiders with 13 points.
DeKalb 61, New Haven 33: Leigha Brown scored 26 points and had eight rebounds, going a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line in the win. Ally Noye had 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Barons. Sony Nard led New Haven with eight points and Alexis Newson had eight steals for the Bulldogs.
Huntington North 40, East Noble 37: Larissa Johnson hit the game winner with 19 seconds left for the Vikings to pick up the NE8 win. Karmen Koch scored 15 to lead Huntington North. Corie Jones had 15 points and seven rebounds to lead East Noble.
Heritage 55, Adams Central 28: Bree Dossen led the Patriots with 11 points, followed by 10 from Sidnie Bienz and eight each from Roz Everhart, Neveah Feasby and Abby Sheehan. Lexi Smith led all scorers with 19 for Adams Central.
Fremont 45, Churubusco 39: Cassidy Yant scored 17 points for Busco in the loss.
