I want to publicly say thank you to Bill Hartman of the Allen County Highway Department and Allen County Commissioner Nelson Peters.

Several years ago I talked to them about a situation that troubled me. I was concerned about an area on the West County Line Road. There is a ditch dangerously close to the road between The Hearth at Sycamore Village and Cypress Point. When I talked to these two gentlemen, they were kind, they listened to me and they said they would see what could be done.

On July 6, when I left Cypress Point and pulled on West County Line Road, there was the most beautiful guardrail I have ever seen.

Thank you from a grateful citizen to these two men who went above and beyond the call of duty.

Vivian Bowers
