Driving on the bypass, there is a sign Vietnam Veterans Memorial with a turn into Johnny Appleseed Park. I took the turn and drove through the park. Where was the Memorial?  I find out that the Memorial has been moved over two years ago. Why does the county, city or state still advertise a memorial that does not exist? Boo on the transportation manager that allows this to exist.

I am surprised that the Allen County Veterans Council did not mandate to the manager of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum that the Memorial be placed with other war artifacts, where it properly should have  been installed.

Why does the county and city show such community disregard to the Vietnam War veterans? All Vietnam veterans should have  been able to see their war honored just as much as World War II and Korea on the coliseum property.

It would be prudent for the proper management to remove the signs on the bypass, since there is NO Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Johnny Appleseed Park.
