Repeatedly I see and hear about attracting more people to the Fort Wayne area. Make the roads nice to attract more people. Sure we would all like to have nice streets.

Has Mayor Tom Henry been out in the real world in Fort Wayne traffic? Has he seen the pictures in the newspaper of 30 lanes of traffic at a standstill in China and L.A.? Has he driven through Indianapolis? What a nightmare. That’s what we want for Fort Wayne?

Every day traffic is backed up at numerous locations on fairly newly revamped and improved routes, not to mention the backed-up traffic on old established routes daily.

Overpopulation is the No. 1 source of pollution, disease, taxing our infrastructure, using up our fresh water supply, (it’s not infinite, you know).

In the Dec. 23 newspaper: “Indianapolis breaks ’15 homicide record, cites population for drugs, poverty and murder.” Is that what we want for Fort Wayne?

Looks to me like we have enough of that crime going on already. Almost every day the Fort Wayne news is another shooting, to the point we almost expect it. Have we become so numb to this tragedy we want to increase the problem by attracting more people?
