The Better Business Bureau of Northern Indiana has reported a phone scam from "Rachel" from Cardmember services, according to reports.

The BBB reports the number begins "260-485-xxxx" and "Rachel" offers to lower one's credit card rating if the person provides a credit card number.

One caller informed the BBB she called the phone number on her caller ID. The number did not belong to "Rachel" but to another woman who had received a call from "Rachel" as well, coming from her number. Because of the number of robocalls, the number appearing on caller ID is not always accurate.
