A Huntington doctor received his sentence for the sexual battery of employees in 2015 and 2016.

John C. Mathew, 64, was sentenced to four years of probation with two years served on electronic monitoring Monday in Huntington Circuit Court for two counts of sexual battery against an employee Dec. 30, 2015. He pleaded guilty to the two charges last month, reducing one charge of rape to sexual battery. Two additional counts of battery were dismissed at sentencing.

He also was ordered to register as a sex offender.
