A Fort Wayne man was ordered to serve the remainder of his September 2016 sentence after he admitted he violated probation March 16.

Michael A. Priester, of the 2500 block of Lake Avenue, was sentenced Thursday in Allen Superior Court to serve the remainder of his sentence — two years — for violating the terms of his probation on a resisting law enforcement charge.

Priester was sentenced in September for fighting with a Fort Wayne Police Department officer at South Side High School, which resulted in the police officer breaking a leg. Priester has 44 days' jail credit.
