The Indiana Department of Transportation announced bridge maintenance on U.S. 24 in Allen County is scheduled to begin Monday, weather permitting, as crews work on the bridge deck overlays on U.S. 24 over Gar Creek and North Webster Road over U.S. 24.

North Webster Road, between Shadyview Lane and Slusher Road, will be closed for one weekend during the work, and shoulder closures will take place on U.S. 24 over Gar Creek, between Bruick and North Webster road. Sometime in early June U.S. 24 will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The project should be completed by late June.
