The Fighting Irish added another body to an already-crowded wide receiver corps earlier this week when ArizonaState receiver Cameron Smith announced he would conclude his college career with Notre Dame.

Smith will join the Irish as a grad transfer and be immediately eligible in 2017, his final season of eligibility.

Smith finished 2014 with 41 receptions for 596 yards and six touchdowns before missing 2015 because of injury. He played in eight games in 2016 with 11 receptions for 183 yards.

Notre Dame enters the summer with plenty of able bodies at wideout, led by junior Equanimeous St. Brown, who paced the Irish last year in receptions (58), receiving yards (961) and receiving touchdowns (nine).
