University of Saint Francis football coach Kevin Donley has been named the 2016 NAIA Region 2 Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association.
Donley wins the award for the second consecutive season and third time overall. Donley joined an exclusive group this year with his 300th career win.
Donley has led Saint Francis to a 12-1 record and a berth in the NAIA national championship game where the Cougars will face 13-0 Baker University. Baker coach Mike Grossner is the Region 3 winner of the award.
Saint Francis will play Baker at 6 p.m. Dec. 17 in Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach, Fla., for the title.
