Indiana Tech junior center Keanna Gary was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Gary averaged 22 points, 8 rebounds and two steals while shooting 78.3 percent from the field as the Fort Wayne native helped the No. 21-ranked Warriors improve to 9-1 and 4-1 in WHAC play.

The Leo High School product scored a career-high 28 points against Cornerstone on Saturday while grabbing 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. She ranks first in the country in field goal percentage (63.4 percent) and is fifth in total rebounds (105).

It is the first weekly honor for Gary and she is the third Indiana Tech player to garner the award from the conference, joining Taylor Seiss (Nov. 14) and Kendall Knapke (Nov. 21).
