Pandemic preparedness

The Historic West Main Street Farmers Market hasn't gone away for the winter — it's just moved inside. It opens Saturday inside Paula's Seafood, 1732 W. Main St. Hours will be 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. through March.
Most parents leave the hospital with their newborn after nine months of morning sickness, doctor's visits and Lamaze classes, culminating in labor and delivery.
Many of us purchase larger sizes of garden products than we can use in one season. When it's time to store things for the winter, we often wonder where to put them and whether we should even keep them around, especially if they are the toxic-types.
This holiday season, many travelers will be able to keep a close eye on home.
