A 39-year-old teacher at Bluffton High School resigned after Bluffton Police and the Wells County Sheriff's Department began investigating an alleged sexual relationship he had with a student. Now Joshua Clark has been charged with child seduction, a Class C felony. Bluffton Police Chief Nathan Huss said Wednesday afternoon that charge is based on an allegation that Clark performed a sexual act with the girl in June at the high school when she was 17 years old.

Huss said he does not know when the alleged sexual relationship began.

This year would have been Clark's fourth year of teaching for the Bluffton-Harrison school district. Clark also was an assistant football coach, Huss said.
