Hello to our state senators and representatives. In view of the upcoming hearing on Tony Bennett for ethical violations, I feel that the combined houses should push for the maximum penalty to be administered and forwarded to the police and prosecutors for final justice.

I feel the Indiana Department of Education staff members should be brought up on charges for doing Bennett’s political campaign work as they are aware of the rules.

All parties involved in this ethical fiasco should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the laws covering this, including fines, loss of jobs, banishment from any further employment with the state, county and city and jail time.

You are all aware of these laws and know what is the right thing to do — unless you are cowards and don’t do what is right.

Stop and think about how the Republican Party is viewed today as knowing what is right but don’t have the will or desire to do what is right. The Democrats are in the same boat.

Is this the way you want to continue running things?
