It was extremely windy and cold when I zipped up my coat and pulled up my hood and prepared to pump gasoline at Murphy at Wal-Mart on Maysville Road. Thanks to the kind gentleman who got out of his vehicle and stepped up behind me and asked, “Are you filling it up?” When I said yes, he said, “Get back in your car. I'll pump it for you.” Thank you to this kind gentleman who battled the wind and cold temperatures while I sat in comfort.
Thank you, Rally's, for bringing back the mushroom Swiss burger. It is the best sandwich in Allen County.
Job well done, guys, on the Jefferson Boulevard concrete repair work. Nice and level on all sides. Give that crew a gold star. Thank you.
Thank you to the postal carriers, newspaper people, water maintenance workers and snowplow drivers who somehow carried on despite the snow, cold and other miserable weather conditions. Bravo!

This is to the newcomer to the city: She said how she likes it here and didn't understand the negatives on the rant. God bless you. There are many who have never been to the library, etc. In the summer, the parks are outstanding. Some places don't have near as much to offer.
