The Cavaliers fall 64-61 to Heritage Christian

TERRE HAUTE – Canterbury's quest for a sixth girls high school basketball state title fell short Saturday, and tears followed.

But the Cavaliers can walk away from their 64-61 loss to Heritage Christian in the Class 2A championship at the Hulman Center knowing they left everything they had on the floor. Kindell Fincher led Canterbury with 24 points and 16 rebounds, Darby Maggard scored 20 and Katherine Smith added 10.
