Thank you, Ron Dantzer of Coe Heating (& Air Conditioning), for excellent customer service! Above and beyond — moving a furnace when you were booked solid — we greatly appreciate it!American Legion Post 241 (Waynedale) recently donated over $44,000to the food bank and Waynedale Churches! (They) also provided homeless veterans with gift baskets. Great dedication and service to our community!

Thank you to the female co-worker who was able to squeeze into my car and back it out of its parking space at work when a large blue car parked too close to my small car. Can't thank you enough.

Tip of the hat to The News-Sentinel for the front-page pictures on Jan.22 of the march on Jan. 18 with the correct caption “Pro-Lifers March Downtown.”

A tip of the hat to Steve Davis, my News-Sentinel carrier, for going above and beyond by placing my paper and any mail I may have on my porch. This senior lady really appreciates not having to wade through the snow down to the road! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. You are a true blessing.

Thank you and a big hug to the gentleman who paid for my breakfast at Angel's Cafe in Georgetown Square on Saturday morning Jan. 4.

Cheers and many thanks to our Fort Wayne Fire Department, one especially, Station No. 4, where those guys really know what they are doing as helpful, courteous firefighters. Hope the chief realizes they are the ones we counted on as our (elder ladies) protectors with boots!
