INDIANAPOLIS — Authorities say a worker at an Indianapolis recycling plant was killed after being pinned between a forklift and a guard rail.Emergency workers were called about 6:30 a.m. Monday to the RecycleForce facility on the city's east side, where the man was found critically injured.

RecycleForce spokesman Ryan Puckett tells The Indianapolis Star that the 30-year-old worker parked the forklift while it was still running and got off to move a screen on an electronics shredding machine by hand. Puckett says the forklift suddenly moved and pinned the worker.

The man was taken to a hospital but died soon afterward from his injuries.
