Monday, November 4, 2013 - 11:37 am

Memorial Coliseum announced its first major concert of the winter season, and country music fans will be thrilled: Darius Rucker, Eli Young Band and opening act David Nail will perform Jan. 30.

Tickets are $35 and $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 15 at the coliseum box office, Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com and 1-800-745-3000.

The bands start their “True Believers” tour the night before at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill.

Rucker is touring to promote his third album, “True Believers.” The song “Wagon Wheel” from the album has earned him multiple nominations from the Country Music Association (CMA) awards and American Country Awards (ACA).

Rucker will perform during the “The 47th Annual CMA Awards” show airing live Wednesday on the ABC television network and on “CMA Country Christmas” airing Dec. 2, also on ABC.

Eli Young Band has had two No. 1 Country Radio hits with its songs “Crazy Girl and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.” “Crazy Girl” went double platinum in sales, was named Billboard magazine's No. 1 Country Song of The Year and won the 2012 Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year.

Singer/songwriter David Nail is a Grammy Award nominee whose recently released single, “Whatever She's Got,” has been attracting a lot of fans.
