Concordia Lutheran's Marching Cadets took first place in the Class C division at Saturday's ISSMA state finals in Indianapolis.

Norwell took fifth place in Class C. The classes are based on school enrollment. Other area schools that placed in the Indiana State School Music Association marching band finals at Lucas Oil Stadium: Homestead took third, Goshen ninth and Carroll 10th in Class A; DeKalb took seventh in Class B, and Adams Central tied for fifth in Class D.
