BLOOMINGTON – Indiana pulled away in the second half behind sophomore point guard Yogi Ferrell’s outside sharp-shooting and freshman swingman Troy Williams double double and beat the University of Southern Indiana 83-68 Saturday night in an exhibition game.
Ferrell hit six three-pointers, he made only 23 all of last season en route to 20 points. Williams had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Also, sophomore forward Jeremy Hollowell had 13 points, senior swingman Will Sheehey had 10 points and freshman forward Noah Vonleh had nine points and 12 rebounds.
IU had a 54-36 edge in rebounding over USI, a NCAA Division II power out of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
