Two more rulings of homicide were issued Friday afternoon by the Allen County Coroner's Office, bringing the total for this year to 33.The death of Jordan L. Calland, 22, has been ruled Allen County's 32nd homicide of the year. Calland was shot on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the 2700 block of Paulding Road. The cause of Calland's death was determined to be by gunshot wound; the coroner's office does not release how many times a person was shot.

The county's 33rd homicide of the year took place Thursday evening in the 8300 block of Bridgeway Drive, in the Southbridge Apartments complex. A man was found unresponsive by Fort Wayne Police Department officers who were investigating reports of a shooting, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. A positive identification has not been made in that case.

That death has been determined to be a homicide, however, with the cause of death by gunshot wound.

Both cases are being investigated by the police department, the coroner's office and the Allen County Prosecutor's Office.
