St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Sunday celebrated the groundbreaking and blessing for its 37,000-square-foot addition to its school at 10700 Aboite Center Road and its future church renovation. The first phase of the construction is to expand the education wing to add 11 classrooms for the school and religious education, a youth group room, a media center and meeting rooms for adult faith formation. The estimated completion date for the education wing expansion is August 2014. The second phase of the construction is to make renovations to the church to improve and enhance the prayer space for the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish. The estimated completion date of the church renovations is March 2015. The church has a $9.5 million capital campaign.
