Three people were injured when two vehicles collided head-on in Noble County.

At around 2:31 p.m. a Chrysler CXI driven by a 70-year-old Wolcottville man drove left of center on U.S. 6 near the intersection of 400 E and struck a Mercedes SUV, entrapping the first driver, according to a Noble County Sheriff's Department news release.

The Wolcottville man suffered arterial bleeding and possible fractures. He was taken by helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for treatment. His passenger, a 61-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to Parkview Regional with complaint of pain. The other driver, a 61-year-old man from Fenton, Mich., got glass in his eye and cuts to his face but declined medical treatment. His 32-year-old male passenger was uninjured.
