Reconstruction of the Anthony Boulevard Bridge over the Maumee River will result in detours for motorists, hikers and bikers alike.

The long-planned $2 million project, which was scheduled to begin Friday, is expected to close the bridge until late May 2014. On the Rivergreenway, there will be a short detour , between North Anthony and Pemberton Drive. Trail users will be directed to use the Hosey Dam driveway to cross North Anthony, then proceed along Niagara Drive to the access ramp where Pemberton and Niagara intersect. The ramp leads back up to the Maumee Pathway.
