I would like to thank the FWO (Jefferson Boulevard) for the helpful, informative therapy I received there this past month. The reception clerk always had a smile and so did Amanda!
Many thanks to the young man who may have saved my life. When turning off a busy section of Lima Road at about 6 p.m. on a Friday, I lost plywood and a spare tire in the middle of the road. This gentleman got out of his car and sent the driver ahead. He then helped me carry the full sheet of plywood and my spare tire across three lanes of traffic to my pickup. Kudos to people who will put themselves in a dangerous situation to help out others.
Tip of the hat to a secret angel who paid for three senior ladies' meals at Pizza Hut in Northcrest Shopping Center on Aug. 11. It was a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated. It is so nice to know there are such generous and thoughtful people in Fort Wayne!
Three cheers to Joyce Steiner's editorial on Aug. 14 — “Serious changes needed in America before we go too far from who we were.” All I have to say is amen!
A big thanks to all who have worked to give Fort Wayne and surrounding communities the great biking/walking trail system. We went riding on the Rivergreenway last Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the safety, beauty and serenity we experienced. We are looking forward to more trails!
I'd like to thank the Kroger stores for their help making Fort Wayne's Turner Club's garage sale a huge success.
