Eleven teams raced along Main Street on Wednesday evening as part of the annual Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival Bed Race. Just one, DeBrand Fine Chocolates, emerged victorious.

One of the more well-known events on this year's lineup, the Bed Race challenged teams of five to wheel custom—made beds down the street as quickly as possible. DeBrand's has now won the title seven of the last eight years. 80/20, a company that makes T-slotted aluminum framing components, took second place, while church Imago Dei took third.

Proceeds from the event benefit Mustard Seed Furniture Bank, which donates household furnishings to those suffering great hardship in the community.
