Letter to the editor: Thanks for the picture

Thursday, July 11, 2013 - 12:01 am

Our thanks to The News-Sentinel for printing the beautiful picture June 26 of Randi and Destiny Shepherd painting a mural at the Kendallville Combat Child Abuse event last month.

Three Rivers Arts Center for Kids’ (TRACK) mission is to use art to empower children, especially those who have been abused. In this case it certainly proves the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words.

We also want to thank Lowe’s on Lima Road for donating the paint and signboard.
