INDIANAPOLIS — Two athletic-oriented groups will hold a public forum next week to discuss ways to turn central Indiana into a hub for sports innovation.

The American College of Sports Medicine and the Indiana University School of Physical Education and Tourism Management at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis will conduct the forum on May 28 at the NCAA headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.

The event is free and open to the public.

Experts from the NCAA, the College of Sports Medicine and other institutions will discuss trends and innovation, the direction of sport and physical activity, and how central Indiana fares in the field.
