Ligonier man dies in Noble County crash

Willard Kauffman, 63, of Ligonier, died Monday evening after his car collided with a minivan at Noble County roads 200 North and 900 West. The driver of the minivan hurt her back and neck in the crash and was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center. A passenger in the minivan complained of back and neck pain; another passenger was unhurt. Investigators said they do not think drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
