A 32-year-old Warsaw man died Monday evening when his motorcycle ran off a rural road and crashed into a tree.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies report that they were called to a wreck at 8:27 p.m. on Kosciusko County Road 350 North, east of County Road 100 East. They found Robert C. Moore, 32, of Warsaw, lying in a ditch on the north side of the road. Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson pronounced Moore dead at the scene. The coroner said blunt force trauma was the cause of Moore’s death.

Investigators said Moore had been traveling west on 350 North on his 2006 Honda motorcycle, but for an unknown reason he ran off the road and struck a tree. Moore was thrown across the road and found by a passing driver. The crash is still being investigated. Moore was not wearing a helmet when he crashed.
