Allen County's unemployment rate dropped again in March, to 8.8 percent, down from 9.1 percent in January and 8.9 percent in February, according to Indiana Department of Workforce data released Friday morning.Those numbers are not seasonally adjusted. The statewide unemployment figure, which is seasonally adjusted, is 8.7 percent, the same as it was in February.

Unemployment rates dropped or held steady in every northeast Indiana county.

LaGrange and Wells counties had the lowest unemployment rates in the region in March; in both, unemployment was reported at 8.2 percent.
