The exhibit can be viewed 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Fridays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays, and noon-5 p.m. Sundays, a news release said. Admission is free.
The photos were taken by professional photographers who volunteer their time. The images try to capture the spirit and personality of each child, the news release said.
The Indiana Department of Child Services uses the Heart Gallery to raise awareness about some of the approximately 1,100 children in foster care in Indiana who need a forever home, the news release said.
