‘Easter in the Garden’

Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory will hold a special one-day Easter event for children 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday at 1100 S. Calhoun St.
Take photos with the Easter Bunny (bring your camera), play games for prizes, make crafts, pot a plant and enjoy light refreshments. Toddlers through elementary school age can look for Easter eggs, and live animals will be on hand. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 ages 3-17, free ages 2 and under.

Easter egg hunts

A couple of churches will hold Easter egg hunts Saturday — just in time for Easter Sunday celebrations.
North Highlands Church of Christ will hold its hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton Park for ages 2-10. Preschoolers must be accompanied by an adult.
Grace Presbyterian Church will hold its hunt 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the church at 1811 Fairhill Road for all ages.
