The Fort Wayne Farmers Market is hosting an informational meeting for anyone interested in becoming a vendor for the satellite summer markets and for next winter’s market.
Vendors will only be allowed to sell products they make, grow or produce in some way.
All vendors will be juried into the markets. There will be a $5 application fee.
The vendor meeting is noon-4 p.m. March 16 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, 11109 Parkview Plaza Drive. Use entrance 1 and park in lots 3 and 4. Enter the building at entrance 1. The meeting will be in conference rooms A, B and C near the cafeteria.
Here’s the schedule for the 2013 spring and summer satellite markets:
•2-6 p.m. Tuesdays, May 28-Aug. 27 at Parkview Regional Medical Center Campus
•4-7 p.m. Wednesdays, June 19-Oct. 16 at Schnelker Park in New Haven
•4-7 p.m. Fridays, June 7-Sept. 6 at Jefferson Pointe
•The Fort Wayne Farmers Market plans two markets, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays downtown, but is currently scouting locations.
Art and craft markets also are under development.
