Noted chastity speaker will present programs here Thursday and Friday

Jason Evert, an internationally known speaker on chastity, will present seminars this Thursday and Friday in Fort Wayne.The local presentations are scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at the University of Saint Francis' North Campus Auditorium, 2702 Spring St., and at noon Friday at Bishop Dwenger High School, 1300 E. Washington Center Road. The Thursday event is free and open to the public.

Evert will discuss God's plan for human sexuality and encourage teens to maintain their chastity or start again if they have made past mistakes, a news release said.

He also will speak Wednesday at Holy Cross College in South Bend and Thursday at St. Joseph High School in South Bend and Marian High School in Mishawaka before traveling to Fort Wayne, the news release said.

His presentations are co-sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend's Office of Family Life and Office of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry.
