The death of a man whose body was found early Saturday morning after police were called to a shooting has been ruled a homicide by the Allen County coroner's office.
An autopsy performed Saturday on the man, who has not been positively identified, showed he died of a gunshot wound or wounds, according to a news release Sunday morning. The coroner's office does not release how many times a victim was shot.

His death is the fifth homicide in Fort Wayne this year. The case remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police department, coroner's office and the Allen County prosecutor's office.
