Indiana forward Cody Zeller spoke with the media following the Hoosiers' Big Ten victory at Michigan State on Tuesday.
The win snapped a 17-game losing streak in East Lansing. The Hoosiers hadn't won there since 1991.
On his showing more of a perimeter game:
“I knew (Michigan forward Derrick) Nix would be dropping back just by how he played me the last game and I've been working out a lot. I'll take whatever the defense gives me."
On breaking the 17-game Breslin Center losing streak:
“It means a lot just for where we are in the season. Playing for the top of the Big Ten standings. Playing a top-5 team on the road. More than anything that was why it was such a big game for us, not the losing streak."
On being 6-1 on the road this season:
"It was a big win. We have a mature group that has been through it before. When they made a run we moved on and made some big buckets. We have a mature group and that was the difference."
