Lutheran Life Villages has hired Anne Crawley as the independent living manager at the Village at Anthony Boulevard. She will be responsible for marketing, daily operations and establishing community partnerships.

Huntington University, Huntington, has named John Noble director of the Centre for Non-Western Studies. He replaces Tim Smith. Noble earned a bachelor of arts from Taylor University, a master of art and master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Near Eastern languages and civilizations from Harvard University.

Hefty Wealth Partners has promoted Doug Lockwood, CFP, to branch president. He will oversee financial and investment planning for the company. He previously served as chief investment officer and wealth partner at the firm and has more than 25 years in the financial industry.

Bishop Luers High School principal Mary Keefer has been appointed a director for the University of Saint Francis. She will serve on the academic affairs committee. She is a graduate of Fort Wayne Central Catholic High School and earned a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in administration from IPFW.

Asher Agency vice president of marketing and social media strategy Anthony Juliano recently gave two presentations at the 2013 Association of Lutheran Development Executives Annual International Educational Conference in Indianapolis.
