Hoosier guard respects Michigan

Sunday, February 03, 2013 01:26 am
Indiana junior Victor Oladipo was again a critical factor in an Indiana victory on Saturday against Michigan. The Hoosier guard spoke with the media following the big win against the top-ranked Wolverines at Assembly Hall.“They're a terrific team. They're really good. They've got a lot of good players. Our players did a good job of battling through their runs and executing down the stretch. That's why we won.”“This is one of our best. We played solid. We came together when things got tight. We did a terrific job of stepping up and making free throws at the end. The big fella (Cody Zeller) was doing his thing and Christian Watford had a double-double.

Without everybody, we couldn't win. We knew that. We needed everybody to step up. Everybody did a good job with that.”“He takes a lot of shots (Burke was 9-for-24 for 25 points). He's efficient. That's what he needs to do for his team to win. A guy like that, you've got to slow him down. They have a lot of good players who are just as good with the ball and who can score at a high level. All of our players did a phenomenal job of containing him and all their players.”
