Forgotten Children Worldwide (FCW), 650 N Main St. in Bluffton, will expand its traditional benefit event to a second night to accommodate more people. The Christian organization works to protect orphaned children and vulnerable children around the world from extreme poverty and child trafficking by providing them with an education, food, medical care and spiritual instruction, it says on its website, www.forgottenchildren.org.

The traditional benefit dinner, with silent and live auctions, has outgrown its space, resulting in creation of a concert night with dessert and coffee bar and silent auction, an FCW news release said.

The new event will take place Feb. 10 at the Wells County 4-H Building, 1240 S 4-H Road in Bluffton. Doors and the silent auction open 6:30 p.m., and the concert featuring the Regeneration worship band from Fort Wayne will begin at 7 p.m., the news release said. Desserts and gourmet coffees will be served.

The benefit dinner and auctions will take place Feb. 11 at the Wells County 4-H Building, with doors and the silent auction opening at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 6:25 p.m., the news release said.

Funds raised during the events and through $25 per month child sponsorships will go directly to helping orphaned and vulnerable children, the news release said.

Tickets for the concert night are $10 per person, or $70 for a table of eight if purchased before Sunday. Tickets for the benefit dinner are $20 per person or $140 for a table of eight.
