Drunk drivers kill hundreds yearly; the person killed, not the car or beer. A person kills with a gun, (and some say) the gun killed?
I'm a law-abiding citizen with guns. Why do I need to say why I need them? Why don't you tell me why I cannot have guns (of any kind)?
I don't care how many miles traveled or how many countries Mrs. Clinton visited; the Benghazi tragedy, that cost our ambassador and three other Americans their lives, even after months of warnings and requests for protection is inexcusable and a sign of incompetence.
Hey, ranters: 50 words or less. Either you can't count, don't know how to be concise or you can't follow directions. Anything longer, send a letter to the editor and put your name on it.
… Republican state legislatures in states won by President Obama are now working to change the rules in their states so electoral votes are allocated by congressional district. … Republicans are shamelessly doing everything they can to subvert our democracy by gerrymandering districts and then changing the rules!
I see that Zack Bonahoom had another one of his tired essays in the newspaper. Everything he says has already been printed in other articles in the paper. He just wants to hitch his wagon to Mitch Harper. Face it kid, you lost. The voters said no thanks.
Now is the time for Christians to speak out. Dennis Kruse, a state senator, has filed legislation that would put prayers back in our schools. Please write to the rules committee to let them know that more people want prayers back in schools than people who do not.
Whether a deal is struck or not with City Utilities and Aqua (Indiana), our city councilmen are doing a disservice to the public that they all represent. They are more than willing to write a blank check! … I think a judge should decide the matter for the simple fact our councilmen, due to their own political agendas, are incapable.
Replace all “conflict managers” with a trained and armed police officer at every school. Additionally, everyone must pass through a metal detector at the main school entrance. You can't board an airplane or enter a courthouse without scanning — why not schools?
Salt and snow crews: Please remember Winchester Road, especially around Wayne High School.
It is your right to stop your car in respect for a funeral procession going the opposite direction. However, not everyone feels the same way you do. If you wish to stop your car, please stop out of traffic so the rest of us can be on our way. It is not a law that you have to stop traffic for a funeral going the other way.
Now, not only are we going to grade teachers on their students' test scores. We will also grade them on how well they do at the firing range. Can't we get a grip on this hysteria?
No matter how close you get to my back bumper, I'm probably not going to speed up.
If there is a second season of “Last Resort,” I will wait for the DVD to come out to watch it; wa-a-a-a-ay too many advertisements!
Hillary accepts full responsibility for Benghazi but “What difference does is make!” What a joke! We have four dead Americans, and we need answers!
New Mexico State Rep. Cathrynn Brown … (introduced a bill stating) a woman who has an abortion after being raped would be charged — along with her doctor — with evidence tampering. … You never hear stuff like this from people of moderation … , it's always from the far right.
