Gunner is a 6-month-old, neutered, male, black-and-white medium-sized Pointer mix.

He was transferred from Clinton County Humane Society to the Allen County SPCA. He is a typical puppy that does need help learning manners. He is very sweet and playful! He needs help with housebreaking, so be patient and allow an adjustment period. The staff recommends crate-training to help with housebreaking. He does not require a fence or trolley to come home but needs daily walks for exercise. He would love to attend puppy classes. The staff feels he would probably do best in a home with children who will be OK with puppy energy levels. He does well with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either. Call the Allen County SPCA at 744-0454. (Courtesy photo)Sassy is a 2 1/2-year-old, spayed, female, white-and-orange, calico domestic short hair cat. She is a very sweet cat. She has a lot to say if you are willing to listen. The staff feels she would do well with children of all ages as long as they treat her nicely. She doesn't seem to mind other cats or even cat-friendly dogs that give her space. Because Sassy has been at the shelter for more than six months, she has a reduced adoption fee of $35 with approved application. Call the Allen County SPCA at 744-0454. (Courtesy photo)
