Clarice is a 5-year-old, spayed, female, tan-and-black Beagle mix. She was found as a stray and brought to the Allen County SPCA. She does not require a home with a fence or trolley but will need daily walks for exercise. She already knows how to sit but could learn more new tricks. She enjoys hanging out with other dogs and just ignored the kitty during her assessment. She has some skin tags on her belly that may need to come off in the future. She also tested a low-antigen positive for heartworms. She will be sent home with treatment but it is required that she be re-tested in six months. Call the Allen County SPCA at 744-0454.

She was brought to the Allen County SPCA by her family because there were too many pets in the home. She is a sweet and playful young cat that will keep you on your toes! The staff feels she would do well with children of all ages as long as they are gentle with her and know when to give her space. She gets along well with other cats and would probably do fine in a home with cat friendly dogs. Call the Allen County SPCA at 744-0454.
