2 in custody after chase with speeds up to 90mph: scanner

Fort Wayne Police arrested two men after a chase from Fort Wayne to the Allen-Whitley county line that reached speeds of 90 mph, according to scanner traffic.

An officer pursued a vehicle carrying the men westbound on Progress Road through the industrial park near Coliseum Boulevard at about 60 mph at 3:30 p.m., according to scanner traffic. The officer said two bags he believed to contain drugs were thrown from the vehicle before it headed westward on U.S. 30 at 90 mph. The chase ended when the men ran from the vehicle at 3:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of West County Line Road.
