Beginning Jan. 1, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art will expand its hours by opening at 10 a.m. most days, one hour earlier than currently, a museum news release said.
The museum will continue to open at noon Sundays.
New hours will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, except open until 8 p.m. Thursday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
The museum also will start a Last Saturday Dollar Days program, with admission $1 per person on the last Saturday of the month.
The museum no longer will offer free admission during the day on Thursdays. It will continue to offer free admission to all visitors on Sundays and every day to museum members and military service men and women, veterans and their families.
The new admission prices are: $7, adults; $12, families; $5, students in kindergarten through college and senior citizens; and free, after 5 p.m. Thursdays and on Sundays.
