Adult book group

The adult book group meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Aboite branch library, 5630 Coventry Lane. “Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin is this month's book.

Book benefit

Open Books will hold a special charity drive in honor of Hoosier author Susie Duncan Sexton's paperback release “Secrets of an Old Typewriter.” Open Books will donate $1 to the Symphony Animal Foundation for every copy sold Dec. 6-9 on Amazon.com. The book is available in paperback, digital and Kindle.

Books-n-Bagels

High school home-schoolers will meet at 10 a.m. Dec. 14 to discuss “The Book of Lost Things” by John Connolly at the Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza.
