•One Lucky Guitar, Fort Wayne, is noted in Rockport Publishers' recently released Design:Type, a publication by author Paul Burgess, featuring a collection of more than 600 designs and essays circling the subject of typography. Included in the book's 270-plus pages are OLG's poster series for a tour by Libertyville, Ill.-based rock band The Ike Reilly Assassination.

•CBRE Group, Fort Wayne, has been ranked by Newsweek as the greenest real estate services firm in its 2012 Green Rankings. This is the fourth consecutive year that CBRE has achieved this distinction.

•SchenkelShultz Architecture, Fort Wayne, in partnership with Brenner Design, Indianapolis, has received a Merit Award for the interior design of the John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center on IPFW's campus. The $23.7 million facility includes a 250-seat recital hall, classrooms, studios, an art gallery, 1,600-seat auditorium and administrative offices. The award was presented by the American Institute of Architects Indiana during its annual design competition.

•Parkview's Stanley Wissman Stroke Center has received the Get With The Guidelines Stroke Gold Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. This achievement recognizes Parkview's commitment to a high standard of care by ensuring stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted best-practice guidelines. This is the second consecutive year the center has been recognized with the award.

•Faegre Baker Daniels, Fort Wayne, has been named one of the 50 Best Law Firms for Women in 2012 by Working Mother magazine and Flex-Time Lawyers. This was based on the firm's leadership in promoting and retaining female talent.

•Weigand Construction Company, Fort Wayne, has completed the new Ronald McDonald House at Parkview Health on Parkview Plaza Drive, totaling 9,000 square feet.

•Weigand Construction Company, Fort Wayne, has been awarded by the University of Notre Dame the expansion to its White Field educational research facility. This project will use the design-build delivery method and is scheduled to wrap up by July. The project includes an addition totaling 11,100 square feet that will house the Aeronautical Engineering Lab.

•Weigand Construction Company has been awarded the 2012 Indiana Construction Association's Gold Summit Safety Award. The company was listed under the building general contractor/construction manager over 300,000 hours category. ICA members include nearly 300 member firms, employing more than 45,000 individual workers.

•STAR Bank, Fort Wayne, employees have returned to the classrooms of Northcrest Elementary to lead the students through the basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace as part of Junior Achievement of Northeast Indiana's Adopt-A-School program. This is the fourth time STAR employees will be participating in the program at Northcrest.

•Htay's Beauty Salon and Win Win PC, Fort Wayne, will relocate to a shared space at 3132 S. Calhoun St. They are owned separately by Northeast ISBDC clients Htay Htay and Thant Naing.

•Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Indiana chapter and Warsaw-Region members represented the state Nov. 5-9 at the annual HBA Leadership Institute and HBA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla. Companies represented by this group included Biomet; Bloomington Meadows Hospital; DePuy Orthopaedics; Genentech; Eli Lilly and Company; Roche Diagnostics; Northlich; OrthoWorx; and YourEncore.
