Senior setter Megan Steenhuysen ran IPFW's offense with near perfect precision and straight past IUPUI to earn a berth in the women's volleyball NCAA Tournament.Steenhuysen had a match-high 40 assists as IPFW swept IUPUI 25-15, 25-12, 25-20 in the Summit League Tournament championship match Saturday in Fargo, N.D., to win the conference title and the conference's automatic bid to NCAA Tournament.

Steenhuysen was named the Summit League Tournament MVP as IPFW out-hit the Summit League regular season champions IUPUI .225 to zero. In addition, the Mastodons held the Jaguars to a negative attack percentage in the first two games.

The Mastodons (25-6, 12-4 Summit League) had two players finish with at least 10 kills in its championship victory. Outside attacker and the 2012 Summit League Player of Year Emily Spencer had a match-high 15 kills, while middle attacker Jessie Manwaring added 11 kills.
