The Mastodons (23-6, 12-4 Summit League) drop to the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Summit League Tournament.

Spencer was one of three Mastodons to finish the match with double-digit kills. Outside attacker Hailie Ripley had 16 kills and match-high eight blocks, while middle attacker Jessie Manwaring added 10 kills.
Outside attacker Kaitlyn Hickey led all IUPUI players with 21 kills and had the match-winning kill in the fifth-game overtime.
The Jaguars out-hit the Mastodons .242 to .208, including holding IPFW to a .152 attack percentage in the decisive fifth game.
IPFW libero Tessa McGill in the loss had a match-high 28 digs to move into second place all-time in school history for the most digs in a single-season.
Despite not winning the regular season title, the Mastodons still have a chance to clinch the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament if it can win the Summit League Tournament.
IPFW will play the No. 3 seed Oakland in the conference tournament semifinals on Friday. The other semifinal match will be between IUPUI and the No. 4 seed Kansas City.
